NEW YORK: Green coffee stocks in Brazil reached 13.08 million 60-kg bags by the end of March, 1.5% more than in the same period a year earlier, the country's food supply agency Conab said on Wednesday.
In its annual report on Brazilian green coffee stocks, Conab said there were 11.40 million bags of arabica coffee and 1.68 million bags of robusta coffee sitting in private warehouses in the country prior to the harvest of this year's crop. That compares to 11.85 million bags of arabica and 1.04 million bags of robusta in the same period last year.
