The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) canceled on Tuesday Pakistan Muslime League - Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz's appearance after police and PML-N workers clashed outside the office.

NAB had summoned the PML-N vice-president to appear before it in a case pertaining to the illegal transfer of a 200-acre land in Raiwind. However, when Nawaz reached the office, party workers fought and pelted stones at police as they tried to stop them from advancing further and entering the NAB premises. The police baton-charged the crowd to disperse them.

After waiting for an hour, the PML-N leader left after NAB announced via a press release that the proceedings had been delayed. In its press release, the bureau said that it will register FIRs against PML-N representatives for interfering in the legal process.

On Twitter, Nawaz has alleged that the police broke the window of her vehicle during the incident.
