ISLAMABAD: The country-wide tally of fatalities from coronavirus has reached 6,267, as 12 deaths were reported during the last 24 hours due to coronavirus.
The number of positive cases has reached 294,193, according to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC).
The data further revealed that 482 persons had been tested positive for the Covid-19 in 24 hours, whereas 24,593 tests were conducted nationwide.
Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad.
Till now, 128,676 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 96,466 in Punjab, 35,831 in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 15,546 in Islamabad, 12,664 in Balochistan, 2,265 in Azad Kashmir, and 2,745 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore, 2,384 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Sindh, 2,193 in Punjab, 1,248 in the KP, 141 in Balochistan, 175 in Islamabad, 65 in the GB, and 61 in Azad Kashmir.
Pakistan has so far conducted 2,512,337 coronavirus tests, and 24,593 in the last 24 hours.
At least 278,939 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country, whereas 669 patients are in critical condition.
