Prime Minister Imran Khan has convened a meeting of the Federal Cabinet on Tuesday, under which the situation after recent rains, especially the situation in Karachi city, damages and drainage issues will be discussed.
Under the 14-point agenda of the meeting, the Cabinet will also be briefed on the import of wheat and sugar.
Construction of high-rise buildings in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Multan is on the agenda. The Federal Cabinet meeting will also brief on the operation against encroachment on Margalla Road Islamabad while the issue of the use of drugs for commercial purposes will be taken up with the Cabinet.
As per the agenda, the criteria and timing for outsourcing to the country's major airports will be determined. The agenda also includes the endorsement of the NEPRA Annual Report, Economic Coordination Committee, and Privatization Committee decisions.
