Veteran Croatian mid-fielder Ivan Rakitic has rejoined Savilla after spending six season with La Liga rivals Barcelona.
The 32-year-old penned a four-year-deal with the reigning Europa League champions.
Rakitic was at Sevilla between January 2011 and June 2014 before leaving to join Barca.
A Barcelona statement read: "The Andalusian team will pay FC Barcelona 1.5m euros plus 9m in variables."
Rakitic won 13 trophies, including a tribal, one Champions League crown and four La Liga titles, at Barcelona.
Versatile, hard-working and an expert reader of the game, is leaving the club after 310 competitive appearances, scoring 36 goals and giving 36 assists.
The most memorable of all was his goal in the 2015 Champions League Final in Berlin, the first of a 3-1 defeat of Juventus that earned the club the trophy for the fifth time.
