Nadeem Lodhi, Citibank Pakistan CCO, has resigned from his post and has announced his retirement, announced a company-wide email sent by Atiq Rehman, Regional Head of EMEA Emerging Markets today.
Nadeem first joined Citi Bank in Karachi in 1994. After spending 12 years in several assignments across Pakistan, South Africa, Kenya and Uganda, he left Citi in 2006 to pursue other opportunities. Nadeem later rejoined Citi as CCO Pakistan in 2012, a role he has held since then, according to company email.
"We thank him and wish him well", the company said in its statement.
"Until Nadeem’s replacement is announced, Moiz Hussain Ali, Markets & Securities Services Head for Citi Pakistan will be officiating as acting CCO," the email said.
