Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has significantly reduced domestic fares.
As per details, PIA has introduced a new package between Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad with 20 kg of luggage, the one-way fare is only Rs 7,400 while the two-way fare now stands at Rs 13,500.
The national airline with 35 kg of luggage has reduced the one-way fare to only Rs 8,400 while the two-way fare to only Rs 15,000.
Attractive discounts on fares will allow people to have fun before the schools reopen. A PIA spokesman said domestic fares would take effect immediately.
This is the third such cut in domestic fares announced by PIA, back in July the national carrier announced to cut domestic fares. "PIA offers an exclusive discount for those who are travelling with hand carry only. Now fly between Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad in just Rs9,572". This is the second time that the PIA management has announced a reduction in fares as the national flag-carrier had already slashed fares for domestic flights last week, and had fixed a price of Rs11,525 for one-way ticket, inclusive of all taxes, for different destinations including Islamabad and other cities," it said in a tweet.
