KARACHI: On Wednesday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 8.523 billion and the number of lots traded was 10,032.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 4.171 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 PKR 1.285 billion, DJ PKR 728.519 million, currencies through COTS PKR 713.132 million, silver PKR 404.731 million, copper PKR 387.215 million, natural gas PKR 377.475 million, crude oil PKR 252.887 million, platinum PKR 124.785 million and SP500 PKR 76.956 million.

In agriculture commodities 3 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 6.416 million were traded.
