Girl martyred, four injured in unprovoked shelling by Indian troops along LoC

(Karachi) An 11-year-old girl embraced martyrdom while four people including a women suffered injuries when Indian Army troops resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along Line of Control (LoC).

According to a statement issued by Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday, Indian soldiers targeted Hotspring and Rakhchikri Sectors. It added that Pakistan Army gave a befitting response to Indian shelling.

It said two young boys also got injured in the incident.

Meanwhile, the Foreign Office summoned a senior Indian diplomat to register protest over continuous ceasefire violations by India along the Line of Control.

The FO condemned the deplorable targeting of innocent civilians by the Indian occupation forces stating that ceasefire violations are against all established humanitarian norms and professional military conduct.

Indian forces have continuously been targeting civilian populated areas with artillery fire, heavy-caliber mortars and automatic weapons along the LoC and Working Boundary.
