A newly found patent filing reveals that Instagram is now looking for charging fees for a link to a post caption.
According to media reports, Facebook's owned photo-sharing platform Instagram is considering charging a fee for linking URLs to photo captions, and a system is being developed.
When a "URL" is added to the text of a post, the user will automatically be asked if they want to create the link directly. They will have to pay $2.
If a link to a text is found in the online system that is a URL address, the system will automatically charge the user for creating the link.
Meanwhile, Instagram chief Adam Mosseri said in a blog post last week that he had been verifying photo-sharing platform accounts for the past two months and after reviewing, he concluded that he was in the process of verifying them. I have to make changes.
