Two days after educational institutions were reopened after a closure of six months, at least 22 across Pakistan have been shut down due to non-compliance of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has said that in two days, 22 educational institutions in the country have been shut down. These include 16 educational institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, one in Islamabad and five in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Students back to school after six months
Meanwhile, two colleges in Sindh’s District Matiari have also been shut down after eight staff members tested coronavirus positive.
So far, Pakistan has recorded 303,634 cases and 6,399 deaths.
