Real Madrid stars Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon are set to arrive in London today (Friday) ahead of their Tottenham Hotspur move from the Spanish capital.
The duo have already been to their medicals in Spain as well as had obligatory MRI scans and COVID-19 tests ahead of their departure to the UK.
As elite sportsmen, the two new Spurs recruits are exempt from the isolation rules of normal travellers but had to still undergo those tests in order to travel.
Both are set to depart Madrid on a private plane at 10am and are expected at Luton Airport at just after 11.30am.
The players will then be taken straight to Spurs' Hotspur Way training complex in Enfield to complete the formalities of their moves to north London in the early afternoon, before they are unveiled later on Friday.
Bale will be returning to Tottenham on loan, with the north London club picking up what amounts to roughly 40 per cent of the 31-year-old's wages, with Real continuing to pay the rest.
