The Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chainstore Association of Pakistan (CAP), as witnessed by the 3rd National E-Commerce Council (NeCC).

The aim of this collaboration is to help retail businesses adopt the latest technologies in their retail and e-commerce operations. Moreover, there will be greater focus on employing indigenously developed innovations and local talent.

According to Abdul Razak Dawood, the Adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for Commerce and Investment, Pakistan has immense growth potential in the e-commerce sector and creating opportunities for public-private partnerships can enable development of a more technologically-advanced retail and e-commerce sector.
