"Hardworking and highly-educated human resources play a key role in running professional affairs and operations of any organization. Therefore steps should be taken at the earliest to recruit best human resources to fill the vacant positions keeping in view the needs of modern policing," the IG instructed while presiding over a meeting of the Human Resource Management at the Central Police Office (CPO) on Friday.
He said that the issued SOPs should not be "neglected" while posting or transferring any senior or junior officer. The promotion board's meetings should be held regularly so that eligible personnel could get their due rights without any delay, he added.
