KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 5.805 billion and the number of lots traded 8,342.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2.744 billion, followed by DJ PKR 648.749 million, currencies through COTS PKR 633.498 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 522.909 million, silver PKR 378.346 million, natural gas PKR 312.631 million, platinum PKR 250.425 million, crude oil PKR 247.544 million, copper PKR 45.214 million and SP500 PKR 21.072 million.

In agriculture commodities, 8 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 24.126 million were traded.
