ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) has rejected increase in the electricity tariff and demanded of the government to withdraw its decision. PPP Information Secretary Dr Nafisa Shah said that the "failed selected government" was putting burden of its failure on the people of Pakistan.
She strongly condemned dropping "electricity bombs" on the people, and said that the "selected government" should immediately withdraw its decision to increase electricity prices.
"Incompetent" government has made life difficult for the people by increasing petrol and electricity prices," she said in a statement on Thursday.
