ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan "is riding on the nerves of those, who looted the country's wealth", and asked PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari to advice former premier Nawaz Sharif to comeback, and face the courts.
In a series of tweets on Saturday, in response to Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal's statement, the information minister, said that those who had plundered the country's wealth would have to return the looted money.
"Bilawal, who claims to be an orator of the rule of law, should advice his 'uncle' Nawaz Sharif to return and face the court by proving respect for the rule of law practically," Shibli said.
"Bilawal is the representative of the 'corrupt legacy', which hollowed the foundations of the country. Bilawal and his father are credited for shifting the PPP from Bhutto's federal party into a regional party," he further stated.
Shibli stated: "The looted wealth of the nation will have to be returned. The corruption done will have to be answered. They need to answer for hollowing out foundations of the country."
According to him, when in the power, Asif Zardari gets better, and gets sick, when he is in the opposition.
"The cause of illness of both Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari is the same...This fraud with the nation will work no more," he added.
