The All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajiran has announced its support for anti-government movements.
Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, Naeem Mir, secretary-general of the All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajiran, said that the rise in inflation was due to the negligence and poor planning of the government and the mafias were pushing the government.
He said that they were disappointed with the government and were forced to seek refuge under the umbrella of the opposition.
The government has become a serious threat to the economy and livelihood, he said. It would be a great service to Pakistan to be a part of every movement to remove the government, he added.
The General Secretary of Anjuman-e-Tajiran also opposed the use of Tiger Force against inflation, saying that their usage was illegal and unconstitutional.
Earlier, the Gujranwala district administration granted permission to the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), an alliance of all opposition parties, to hold a rally at Jinnah Stadium in Gujranwala on October 16 (tomorrow).
The opposition parties were granted permission following successful negotiations with the local administration.
