LCCI congratulates new FBR chairman

The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has congratulated the newly appointed Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Ali Arshad Hakeem and invited him to visit LCCI to share his future plans with the business community.
In a letter to the FBR new chairman on Saturday, the LCCI President Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that the business community has attached very hopes with Ali Arshad Hakeem because of his excellent performance as chairman National Database Registration Authority (Nadra).
The LCCI president said that the new chairman would have to utilise his best abilities to facilitate the businessmen who are generating revenues for the government despite all odds. He said that the FBR Chairman would have take special measures to expedite the refund cases pending with the Board for a long time now and have blocked huge cash flow of the business community already perturbed due to serious energy crisis. Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that the new chairman has big responsibility on his shoulders as in the budget 2012-13 the revenue target has been enhanced.
