(Karachi) Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the Opposition's movement against the government will fail miserably. He added, "I want Opposition to hold protest every day and be exposed in front of the people."

Chairing a meeting of the parliamentary leaders and allied parties in Islamabad on Friday, Imran said he will not give NRO to the corrupt mafia at any cost.

On the occasion, the meeting also reviewed Opposition's rallies and the future course of action.

Earlier, Imran stated that giving an 'NRO' — relief from corruption cases — to his opponents is an “easy path” for him to take, but it is the “path to destruction”.

He said, "We have to make difficult decisions and difficult decisions take us forward." He said the country is "going in the right direction", and that giving an NRO at this moment would be the easy way out from the difficulties he faces as premier.

The Opposition is all set to hold its power show in Gujranwala against the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf regime. Leaders of different political parties will address the public gathering under the banner of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), an alliance of opposition parties formed to launch campaign against the government.

In their address before leaving for Gujranwala, PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and JUI-F chief Fzlur Rehman criticised the government, saying public gathering in Gujranwala will be the first step to get rid of the government.

They stated that people have become fed up of the present regime and want change in the country.
