CHICAGO: Chicago Board of Trade corn futures rose to their highest since August 2019 on Wednesday, their third straight day of gains, fueled by strong export demand, traders said.
A US Department of Agriculture report on Thursday morning was expected to show weekly corn export sales in a range from 800,000 to 1.4 million tonnes, up from 655,165 tonnes in the prior week.
The benchmark CBOT December corn futures contract faced resistance at the high end of its 20-day Bollinger range.
CBOT December corn ended trading on Wednesday near its session high of $4.15-1/4.
