KARACHI: Col. Tahir Ayaz, sector commander, Pakistan Rangers, has assured the industrialists that the 92-Wing of the Pakistan Rangers will work for improvement of law and order and clearing and removal of encroachments which serve as hideouts for criminals.
He said this while discussing issues relating to law and order with the industrialists at the SITE Association of Industry.
He assured the SITE association members of his full support in every aspect be it the maintaining of the law and order, infrastructure development, cleaning of the area or any administrative responsibility assigned to them within the ambit of Rangers purview.
Zubair Motiwala, patron of SITE association, said that a grant of Rs1.037 billion had been approved by Sindh chief minister for repair and construction of 19 roads in SITE which would also help in reducing street crimes in the area.
He appreciated the fact that the overall law and order situation had improved and peace restored after the Sindh government availed the services of Pakistan Rangers. However, he said that the industrialists needed help and support of the Pakistan Rangers to overcome administrative hurdles in SITE area. Abdul Hadi, president of SITE, welcomed the chief guest and thanked him for sparing his valuable time to visit the association to discuss matters relating to law and order.
