Pakistan Muslim League (N) vice-president arrived in Quetta on the eve of Pakistan Democratic Movement's (PDM') planned anti-government rally in the Balochistan's capital. During her talk with media she said, among other things, she repeated her accusations against the government. This is her democratic right. As an opposition leader she is also required to point out weaknesses and shortcomings in governance. Having said that, I must request her and other PDM leaders to speak about the issues and problems being faced by the people of Balochistan. It is quite unfortunate that no PDM speaker spoke about the ordeals of Karachiites during its recent show in Karachi. It was also unfortunate that one of senior leaders of PDM, Mahmood Khan Achakzai chose this occasion to trigger an absolutely unnecessary controversy about the national language.
