FDT helps out 10 textile university students

Faisalabad Development Trust (FDT) has provided Financial Assistance of Rs294,000 to 10 most deserving and talented students of the National Textile University (NTU). Commissioner, Faisalabad, Syed Tahir Hussain on Sunday presented a cheque to NTU's Registrar Jawed Iqbal on behalf of the FDT against the outstanding fees of these students who include: Munabb Ahmed, Sabir Hussain, Hassan Javed, Zahid Farooq, Muhammad Ashraf, Saqib Saleem, Hafiz Tanvir Ahmed, Muhammad Mohsin, Farrukh Aslam and Hira Asghar.
Appreciating FDT's role in this regard, Commissioner Tahir Hussain said that FDT had earlier donated Rs3.1 million, helping out 196 deserving students of the University of Agriculture. The Trust also executed a number of development projects in the city, besides providing medical equipment and accessories to three public-sector hospitals of Faisalabad and Chiniot, he added. NTU's Registrar Jawed Iqbal thanked FDT's Chairman Mian Muhammad Tayyab and other trustees for helping the deserving students.
