HYDERABAD: MPA Sharjeel Inam Memon said that the way federal government was being governed the country; there was no need of any anti government movement as it would be dissolved itself.
He said that federal government did not care the difficulties of the people and as the prices of sugar, flour and other essential commodities were increasing, the people's anger increasing as well. He was talking to media men during the inaugural ceremony of five days Polio campaign commencing from November 3 at Sindh Government Hospital Paretabad, Hyderabad.
He said that due to bad policies of federal government there was a wheat crisis and added that the imported wheat was not good for food for human but useful for making feed. He said that electricity and gas loadsheding had not been controlled and there was 16 to 18 hours long loadsheding in Sindh Every person of the society had mental stress and wanted to get rid of this selected government, he claimed.
Memon said that sensing the miseries of the people, the Sindh government was trying hard to organize bachat bazaars where people could be provided essential commodities on cheap prices, actions were being taken against hoarders and profiteers indiscriminately. He said that the federal government was imposing taxes on growers while prices of diesel and urea fertilizer sacks had been increased which had direct effects on retail prices. He said that agriculture was the backbone of country' economy but amnesty schemes were being given to the builders and others.
He said that the federal government wanted to keep constant pressure on opposition therefore federal Ministers were holding four press conferences in a day and added that they (government) had nothing but to blame opposition and giving certificates of traitors to them. He said that if they (government) had moral dare they should not hide themselves behind the stay order on BRT and claimed that they received kick bags of Rs 7 billion; if the stay order would be lifted more than half federal cabinet and the whole KPK government would be in the prison, he said.
He said federal government did not consider the Sindh as their part because they did not have their vote bank here and added that the federal government did not help Sindh during difficult times particularly during rains.
Memon said Imran Khan was the modern form of dictatorship that came into government by rigging the elections. Replying question about Covid-19, Memon said that we not only had to fight Coronavirus but also afraid of it and underlined the need of remaining careful in this regard.
