Tokyo rubber falls

TOKYO: Japanese rubber futures fell on Tuesday, tracking the Shanghai market lower as euphoria waned over promising trial results of a vaccine made by Pfizer with warnings that it will take months before any vaccine is widely distributed.

Osaka Exchange's rubber contract for April delivery finished 4.8 yen, or 2.23%, lower at 210.6 yen per kg. The rubber contract on the Shanghai futures exchange for January delivery fell 3.1% to finish at 13,920 yuan per tonne.
