Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar and Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi provided on Saturday letters, names, phone numbers, transactions, audio, and other evidence of India's involvement in state-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan.
Sabotaging CPEC
In a joint presser, they said India wants to sabotage the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) which they know is an economic gamechanger for Pakistan. They said India has established a cell being supervised by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in its intelligence agency with the sole objective of disrupting CPEC projects.
"So far India has distributed Rs 80 billion to a terrorist organization cell set up for this purpose," Qureshi said. He added that there are also reports that India has established a 700-strong militia to target CPEC projects. A commission comprising 24 members was created which included 10 RAW operatives. $ 60 Mn dollars were dedicated for this force, the dossier said.
RAW financing, training terrorists
The DG ISPR said that tangible evidence indicates that Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) is involved in planting improvised explosives devices (IEDs) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir to target civilians and military personnel.
In audio, the RAW officer also explains that the terrorists will get higher rewards if they kill more people.
Indian ambassadors in Afghanistan supervising terrorist activities
The army spokesperson also Indian embassies operating along Pakistan borders, have become hubs of terrorist sponsorship against Pakistan. Indian diplomats in Afghanistan have regularly been supervising in various terrorist activities.
He said the Indian ambassador to Afghanistan and Indian consular in Jalalabad had detailed discussions with collaborators to provide financial support to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
He said Indian intelligence officer, Colonel Rajesh employed at Indian Embassy in Afghanistan, is the master planner and a letter reveals that he has held four meetings with commanders of these terror outfits to upscale terrorist activities in metropolitan cities in November and December 2020.
Army Public School attack
The DG ISPR said that investigation of the attack on Agriculture University in Peshawar in 2017, led to the masterminds of the Army Public School (APS) attack. He further said RAW hired three facilitators for the attack on Agriculture University. Malik Feridoon was also involved in planning the APS attack and went to the Jalalabad consulate to celebrate soon after the attack.
He added these attackers were in contact with several Afghan members during the attack and live-streamed videos to their handlers, which were also uploaded from Afghan handlers IP addresses.
