ISLAMABAD: The exchange rate of Pakistani rupee lost 13 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Tuesday and closed at Rs158.30 against the previous day's closing of Rs158.17.
Meanwhile, according to Forex Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs158 and Rs159 respectively.
In interbank trading, the price of euro appreciated by 12 paisas and closed at Rs187.81 against the last day’s trading of Rs187.69, State Bank of Pakistan reported.
The Japanese Yen gained one paisa to close at Rs1.51, whereas a decreased of 02 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 209.17 against Rs 209.19 in the previous day.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal also increased by 04 paisas each to close at Rs43.09 and Rs42.20 respectively.
