KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 8.478 billion and the number of lots traded 8,418.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2.799 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.879 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 1.323 billion, DJ PKR 819.277 million, silver PKR 768.496 million, copper PKR 500.189 million, platinum PKR 173.841 million, crude oil PKR 97.388 million, natural gas PKR 94.711 million and SP500 PKR 21.613 million.

In agricultural commodities, 4 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 2.380 million were traded.
