ISLAMABAD: The government will cancel former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s passport on February 16, who is currently in London, said Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid on Wednesday.
Rashid, while talking to reporters at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) headquarters said the passport of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid Sharif would be cancelled on February 16. The PML-N supremo was granted an eight-week bail on medical grounds in October 2019, and a month later, he was allowed to travel abroad for treatment for four weeks.
He said that opposition had been exposed as money launderers and people who obtained Iqamas (foreign work permits) because they were not honest with the country.
