The Sindh High Court Hyderabad Circuit Bench gave last warning to the police and Sindh Home Department officials to produce a missing person on the next date of hearing. The bench consisting Justice Shahid Anwar Bajwa and Justice Sadiq Hussain Bhatti here on Thursday also summoned the Home Secretary Sindh and the DIG on August 8 if the police failed to produce the missing person, Raja Dahir Teevno.
Teevno, a resident of Gulistan-e-Sajjad area, went missing on March 5, 2012. The DIG Hyderabad Region Sanaullah Abbassi and Additional DIG Sikandar Mangi, besides other police officers, appeared before the court. The DIG informed the Bench that the police are doing its best to recover the missing man.
The petitioner's counsel Advocate Abdul Hakeem Baloch, however, maintained that the police are showing no interest to recover the boy. The petition was filed by Allah Dino Teevno, brother of the missing person. The hearing was adjourned till August 8, 2012.
