After a year’s wait Pakistan Super League (PSL) is back with its third season and last year’s champions ‘Peshawar Zalmi’ have upped their star power by choosing Mahira Khan as their new brand ambassador.
The defending champions released on Thursday their official song for this year’s PSL and Mahira and fellow brand ambassador and co-actor Hamza Ali Abbasi are seen grooving to beats. ‘Hum Zalmi’ by ‘Call’ band is the official tune for the team.

Hamza and Mahira, along with the cricketers of the team, have their game face on in the video as they dance in ‘Zalmi’ style in the song.
Javed Afridi-owned team is going to be led by the West Indian bowling all rounder Darren Sammy. The team includes some A-class players such as Hasan Ali, all-rounder Haris Sohail, England seamer Chris Jordan and Mohammad Asghar.

The team also has wicket keeper Kamran Akmal, Bangladeshi legend Shakib al Hasan, fast bowler Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Hafeez and also the world renowned all rounder Dwayne Bravo. With these names attached to the team, former captain’s Shahid Afridi’s absence won’t surely be missed by the team.
