Three women died and five others were injured on Saturday in an explosion on a minibus in Indian Occupied Kashmir, police said. The victims were tourists from the southern Indian state of Maharashtra, a local police official said. The incident took place about 45 kilometres west of Occupied Srinagar.
Police said it was not yet clear what caused the explosion but did not rule out a terrorist attack. Saturday's incident comes on the eve of a scheduled visit to Occupied Kashmir by Indian Defence Minister AK Antony.
