Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said the Punjab government's Ramazan Bazaars have failed to provide relief, saying that it is wary of the popularity of utility stores for providing relief to the masses.
"So wary is the Punjab government machinery that the DCO Sargodha sealed a way to the utility store market after the Punjab government's Ramzan Bazaars became sullen and dreary," he said while replying to a query after a meeting with
zonal managers of Utility Stores Corporation (USC) at the State Guest House here Sunday. He said one could assess the sincerity of the Punjab government in providing relief to the masses from such anti-public acts.
He said people had been complaining of high-prices and substandard commodities at Ramzan Bazaars set up by the Punjab government during the holy month of Ramazan.
