Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday blamed President Asif Ali Zardari for "all excesses against Punjab" and urged people protesting against power outages not to damage public or private property. He said this while inspecting the metro bus service project.
Expressing solidarity with protesters, the Punjab chief minister said that he himself was "full of protest" against power cuts during 'sehri' and 'iftar' timings.
Shahbaz Sharif said that his government's efforts, particularly in field of development, would usher in an era of prosperity and well being for the people of Punjab. He said his government was trying to provide affordable transport facilities to the people.
