23 injured in Lahore twin blasts

As many as 23 people were injured when two bombs planted in Badami Bagh fruit market went off on Wednesday night. According to the security officials, explosive materials planted beneath a fruit table in the market that exploded in successions causing damages to the vegetables and fruits' tables and injuries to some 23 people.
The injured were shifted to different nearby hospitals. Two of the injured are reported to be in critical condition. Soon after the blast security officials cordoned off the area and started investigation. Following the blast, law enforcement agencies have stepped up security at the arrival and departure points of the city.
