Two bodies recovered

Bullet-riddled bodies of man and a woman were recovered from separate areas of the metropolis here on Wednesday. According to police and rescue sources, a body of a man stuffed in gunny bag, who was later identified as Shoaib, 30, son of Haroon, was recovered from Jahangir Road in the limits of Jamshed Quarters police station.
SHO Khushnood Javed said the deceased, who was the resident of Ranchore Lane area, was kidnapped and then murdered after severe torture. He said the victim used to work in a canteen of a private university and suspected he might have been murdered over personal ground. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for post-mortem and later handed over to the family.
A 45-year-old woman namely Razia wife of Akram was found dead in her house located in Lasi Goth in the limits of Sohrab Goth police station. DSP Iftikhar Lodhi said the body was recovered on the information of her husband and added that she was hit by single bullet on her head. He said the motive behind her murder was yet to be ascertained. No case was registered till filing of this report.
