SCCI, Czech Republic join hands towards enhancing trade ties

Sarhad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) and Czech Republic on Wednesday agreed for exchange of trade delegation, sharing information relating to hydro power generation along with commerce and trade, while taking mutual benefits from each other experiences.
Both sides agreed during a meeting held between SCCI president Afan Aziz and Ambassador of Czech Republic in Pakistan, Miroslav Krenek here on Wednesday. During the meeting both sides stressed for exchanging trade delegations and also showed keen interest to boost up economic, trade relations and take mutual benefit from each other experiences with exchange business delegations. On the occasion, SCCI chief Afan Aziz formally welcomed the Czech Republic envoy on his visit to Peshawar, said that the chamber is giving top priority to strength trade and economic relations with foreign missions in the country.
He stressed the business community of Czech Republic and Pakistan should come forward to take benefits from each other experience with sharing of information in trade, economic and other potential sectors. SCCI chief said that energy has much importance in Pakistan, where having huge opportunities and potential to invest in the various sectors, particularly in hydro power generation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding that the investment in the sector would prove to address the growing energy crisis in the country.
Afan Aziz said Pakistan is giving more importance to strength mutual trade relations with all states and their products access in international market. For the purpose, he said that trade agreements had been signed with different countries. He stressed that the Czech Republic and Pakistan would take steps to boost up trade relations between both the states. On the occasion, the Ambassador of Czech Republic in Pakistan, Miroslav Krenek has agreed with the proposals and recommendations put by the SCCI president for strengthening trade ties between two countries.
