Sindh Rangers arrest 30 suspects

Following the killings of two Rangers' personnel in Orangi Town on last Tuesday, Sindh Rangers have nabbed some 30 suspects during door-to-door search at several parts of Orangi Town. According to police sources, the murder case 182/12 of two Rangers personnel was registered against unknown shooters on the complaint of Rangers personnel Shabbir in Pirabad police station.
Following the killings of Inspector Gul Bahar and Sepahi Noorullah near Banaras Chowk, Orangi Town, heavy contingent of Rangers cordoned off several parts of Orangi Town including Banaras, Aligarh Society and Gulfamabad on early Wednesday and conducted strict house search that led to have detained some 30 suspects. Police said they did nothing in this operation as the Rangers officers conducted it alone and stayed police away from this operation.
Sources said that the detained men were earlier gathered at open place and later moved to unknown location for further investigation. Police sources confirmed that no suspect was neither transferred to police nor released by the Rangers till the filing of this report. Meanwhile, the funeral prayers of two martyred Rangers personnel were offered at Bhittai Rangers Headquarters, Malir and then bodies were dispatched to their hometown (KPK) for burial process.
