PML-N to foil all anti-judiciary conspiracies: Ahsan

07 Aug, 2012

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Deputy Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal on Monday said that Pakistan People's Party is attacking judiciary in an attempt to make it "political martyr" before the general elections in the country. The PML-N leader said that the PPP is causing harm to itself by criticising judiciary through its activists.
"Zardari led government is making mockery of Constitution and democracy just top protect US $60 billion lying in the Swiss banks," he said, adding, "The PPP had to pay price of its wrong doings in the general elections." Ahsan Iqbal further said that the PPP is bent upon to get back independence of judiciary. "The whole nation rendered sacrifices for independence of judiciary and the independent judiciary will move forward," he said. He added that the PML-N will foil all conspiracies against independent judiciary. The PML-N leader claimed his party would achieve success in the coming general elections and put the country on road to progress and prosperity. "The PML-N has made 3Es ie, Energy, Economy and Education as the most important element of its manifesto," he said, adding, "PML-N experts team have devised a road map to lead Pakistan as a respectable country in the comity of nations."
Regarding criticism of PTI leader Javed Hashmi on Nawaz Sharif, Ahsan Iqbal said Javed Hashmi had violated party discipline but no action was taken against him. What Hashmi is saying today is altogether different what he speaks in the past, he said. It does not suit Hashmi to level baseless allegations on PML-N leaders.
