Balochistan, Karachi situations interlinked: Altaf

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said that country is facing grave challenges. Addressing an Iftar-dinner in Karachi on phone from London, Altaf Hussain said Chief Justice of Pakistan had taken action against the prime minister very promptly but what about killers of people who were roaming free in the country.
He said terrorists and killers were released by courts on simple production of an NIC card as a surety bond. About the ongoing row between judiciary and parliament he said it would be established very soon who is the supreme. About Balochistan situation, he said Balochistan and Karachi situations are interlinked. "We do not want to divide Pakistan or Sindh, he said.
He said, "Reman Bahi you are good but conditions in the country were not good." "When I warned about the worsening conditions in the country I was not taken seriously and people made fun of my statement, but now things are clear to everybody," Altaf said. Altaf said businesses and industries have been destroyed because of the 'Bhatta mafia'. People are suffering due to price hike, loadsheding and lawlessness.
