The Peshawar High Court (PHC) of Monday granted transit bail to Pakistan People's Party-Sherpao (PPP-S) chief and former Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao in Akbar Bugti murder case. Justice Shah Jahan Akhunzada of PHC accepted his plea and granted him transit bail till August 30.
Talking to media after the court proceeding Sherpao said that his name was not in the First Information Report (FIR). He added that the Balochistan law and order was the issue of provincial government. He said that he had submitted his statement in the Balochistan High Court (BHC), adding that he fully co-operated in the investigation.
