TOKYO: Japanese rubber futures rose on Wednesday, after the United States eased travel restrictions for many countries including Japan, a move that is likely to give a boost to economic growth and demand for industrial commodities.
Osaka Exchange’s rubber contract for November delivery finished 3.6 yen, or 1.5% higher, at 241.7 yen per kg.
The rubber contract on the Shanghai futures exchange for September delivery fell 0.1% to finish at 13,005 yuan per tonne.
