China's women retained their Olympic table tennis team title on Tuesday when they overcame Japan 3-0 in a one-sided final. It followed China's capture of both singles gold medals, and precedes their attempt on Wednesday to win another men's team gold, which would repeat their sweep of all four table tennis golds in Beijing in 2008.
