Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) women's wing on Tuesday announced the names of 17 women cricketers who were awarded central contract for the year 2012. These cricketers were awarded contracts in three categories.
Six players - Sana Mir, Javeria Wadood, Bismah Maroof, Qanita Jalil, Sadia Yousuf and Nain Abidi were given central contract in Category-A, while five cricketers namely Nida Dar, Marina Iqbal, Batool Fatima, Asmavia Iqbal and Rabiya Shah were awarded contract in Category-B. Mariam Hassan Shah, Nahida Khan, Sidra Amin, Sania Iqbal, Sana Gulzar and Namra Imran were given central contract in Category-C.
