KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 8.770 billion and the number of lots traded at 9,781. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.906 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.403 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.365 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.185 billion), Silver (PKR 640.320 million), Platinum (PKR 489.280 million), DJ (PKR 390.601 million), Natural Gas (PKR 156.689 million), SP 500 (PKR 133.125 million), Copper (PKR 67.761 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 31.954 million).

In Agriculture Commod-ities 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.454 million were traded.
