The man of the moment for Peshawar Zalmi, Umaid Asif rating his performance on debut said it is like a dream come true.
Speaking at post match ceremony, the Zalmi emerging star said, “Replacing Hasan Ali was big filling shoes to fill.”

“Fortunately, all went according to plan; I just stick to my natural variations just like I did in the national One-day cup to pick up the wickets,” said Umaid.
Commenting on his return to completive cricket after injury, he said, “It was quite difficult for me to comeback from the injury and deliver such performance.”

On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi skipper Darren Sammy commenting on Umaid’s performance said, "Umaid Asif was tremendous in his first ever Pakistan Super League match."
Umaid was picked by Peshawar Zalmi as Hasan Ali’s cover up bowler. On his debut today, he became the first pacer in Pakistan Super League (PSL) history to bag four wickets.
