A 22 member South Asian Free Media Association (Safma) delegation from India led by Safma India general secretary Satish Jacob called on Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa at Governors House and discussed various issues including Kashmir and water disputes.
According to a press statement issued from Governor House, Governor Punjab while talking to delegation said that all issues should be resolved through dialogue. He said that both India and Pakistan had realised that good relations between the two countries will be helpful in promoting durable peace in the region.
He also said that media can play an important role in changing the mindset and transform the dreams of our forefathers into reality. He said that the trade corridors should be opened and traffic barriers should be ease which would be viable for traders and beneficial for people of both sides.
