Upward trend seen on grain market

Higher trend was seen on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday in process of modest tradng, dealers said. On the cereals side, Makai low type was higher by Rs 87 to Rs 2600 and the best type was up by Rs 100 to Rs 2625, Juwar low type gained Rs 100 to Rs 2200 while the superior quality shed Rs 100 to Rs 2300, Masoor Dall rose by Rs 100 to Rs 6500, dealers said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (new) inferior type managed to gain Rs 25 to Rs 950 while the best type inched up by Rs 10 to Rs 1000, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams and rice sector in process of trading, they said.
