ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Deputy Chairman Hussain Asghar has reportedly resigned from his post.

Sources said that the NAB Deputy Chairman Hussain Asghar sent his resignation to President Arif Alvi.

The NAB Lahore had sent a letter to the NAB chairman for inquiry against the deputy chairman NAB, they said.

When contacted, the NAB spokesman said that he has seen the reports. "But he has not submitted his resignation to chairman NAB. May be he has given resignation to the president," he said.
